Gym Rules
These rules support a safe, respectful training environment and form part of the practical conditions of membership where relevant to the facility or service you use.
1. Follow safety instructions
Follow reasonable instructions from staff, signage and equipment guidance. Do not use equipment that appears damaged or unsafe; report hazards promptly.
2. Train within your capability
Exercise involves physical risk. Use appropriate loads and technique, use safety equipment where provided, and ask for qualified assistance when needed. Stop training and seek appropriate medical help if you develop concerning symptoms. General training guidance is not medical advice.
3. Respect other users
Harassment, threatening behaviour, discrimination, deliberate intimidation, violence and abusive conduct are not permitted. Share equipment reasonably and avoid conduct that creates an unnecessary risk to others.
4. Equipment and training areas
Return equipment after use, keep access routes clear and do not deliberately damage property. Use specialist areas or equipment only for their intended purpose and in accordance with any displayed conditions.
5. Hygiene and personal property
Use reasonable hygiene practices and leave training areas in an appropriate condition for the next user. Personal belongings remain your responsibility except where the law makes us responsible for loss or damage.
6. Access credentials
Membership access is personal. Do not share account credentials, passes or access devices, or facilitate unauthorised entry. Report lost or compromised access credentials promptly.
7. Photography and privacy
Respect the privacy of members and staff. Do not photograph, film or record another person in circumstances where they reasonably expect privacy or where facility rules prohibit recording.
8. Breaches
Serious or repeated breaches may lead to warnings, temporary suspension or termination where reasonable and proportionate. Any action remains subject to the Membership Terms and statutory consumer rights.
